Steppenwolf DC Comics – A New Renaissance in Comic Books

steppenwolf dc comics

When I was a kid, my favorite DC Comic book was Steppenwolf. Now, if you are familiar with those old Batman and Robin comic books, then you probably remember the crazy mask that Robin wore in the TV show. I loved that show and when they brought that mask back for a second series I was excited to see what happened to it. If you are familiar with those types of comics, you will know why I am so fond of this character.

The storyline in Steppenwolf DC Comics is just fantastic. There is a whole city in the future that has been destroyed. It is called Gotham City and it is run by the Dark Knight. The only problem with this is that there are no more humans living in the future.

Bruce Wayne has gone into exile after an accident that leaves him paralyzed. He has moved on to New York City where he works with a new identity as the Red Hood. He wants to help make Gotham City a better place but he is not sure how. He does have contacts in the criminal world though and he needs someone to help him get his plan through. He assigns Harvey Dent to be the new guardian of Gotham City, and he plans to make sure that things get done.

The characters in Steppenwolf DC comics are all incredibly interesting and I bet you never thought about them being related to Batman at all. Well, you are very correct. The villains are like the Joker and Two-Face and they are ruthless. They want to rule the city and make it their own. Harvey and Batwoman try to stop them but in the end, both of them are forced to join forces with the hero.

Bruce and the team face many difficult situations and in many cases, they have to fight each other. There are some amazing fight scenes and some really tense moments. The fights are brutal and I was glad that there were no cute little kids in this comic. In fact, no one in this comic looked old enough to be a cute kid. The fights were real, they were brutal, and they were near and dear to my heart. I couldn’t wait for the next issue to come out.

The fighting in this comic was really intense. There were times when I wanted to scream and there were times when I wanted to run away. It really kept me interested and when the next issues came out, I tried them all out. Some of them made my day, some of them made me cry, and others left me in absolute awe.

A Much Ado

Steppenwolf is definitely not your run-of-the-mill comic. It takes you into a dark world filled with horror and evil. It’s a bit gritty and real. When you are done with the current issue, you will definitely want to pick up the next one and experience this darkness.

Steppenwolf DC comics are a really great read. I really enjoy them and I hope that you will too. If you like dark fantasy with a touch of realism, then I highly recommend that you give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

I am a huge fan of DC comics and I have always been a big fan of DC movie franchises as well. I am so glad that I finally found a dark superhero role model in Steppenwolf. This guy is awesome. He has a very human mindset, but his devil costume really sold it for me.

My favorite thing about this comic is that it really keeps you guessing. You never know when he is going to attack. It’s great. I especially love the open ending where you don’t see him kill his mom and dad. I wish I had more of the story. Steppenwolf DC comics are really great and I recommend them.

Final Words

If you are a DC fan and you haven’t really explored this side of the superheroes, then this is a great place to start. I would really recommend this to a DC fan who wants something darker and really goes into the character’s psyche. This is a really fun and unique read.
