Comic book adaptations are a regular thing in cine world these days, and most of the movies are achieving great heights of success, but there are some movies which are very underappreciated by audience and critics. Hulk (2003)

While most of the people think of hulk as a friendly personality by seeing his portrayal in Avengers, there is a lot more for Hulk. Hulk is a character which is filled with aggression and is very strong. The character was at its best in the movie Hulk released in 2003. Director Ang Lee made sure that Hulk is similar to the one that has been mentioned in the comics, the ruggedness, anger, and frustration every emotion has been perfectly emoted by the actor. This movie is unique, but it didn’t attain the popularity that it deserves.

V For Vendetta

There are so many fans for this movie and so many streams it on Netflix, but the movie didn’t do that great in the theaters. This isn’t a movie with patches on the original one, but this movie was far better and greater than that. The movie had everything in place, from characters to the performances the entire movie was perfectly crafted. While the comic book readers will surely denounce the alterations made to some characters, the movie was directed and presented to the audience in a great way.

The Mask

Yes, the mask did great in the movie world and established a promising career for actress Cameron Diaz, this movie didn’t get a place in the cultural memory. No matter whatever the reason was, The Mask wasn’t a movie that people prefer to watch over and over. The movie didn’t attain the popularity that it deserves.

Super Girl

Supergirl released 30 years ago was the first movie with a female superhero protagonist. The movie wasn’t spectacular, but it was good enough to watch. Most of the people expected a cameo of then Superman Christopher Reeves, it didn’t happen, and this was a big blow for the movie. Apart from that, the movie was good, and it was intended to bring change in the then pop culture back then.

Turtles Forever

There are several adaptations of Ninja Turtles. Turtles forever was an animation based CGI movie which was a perfect adaptation of the comic. But the move doesn’t make it that big as it was expected too.  

Ghost Rider- Spirit Of Vengeance

The Ghost Rider did pretty well at the box office, but its sequel took a hit. The movie was good and unique. Any regular superhero formula wasn’t incorporated in the movie, and whatever was in the comic, the same was represented.  This movie is a must watch for all the Ghost rider comic lovers out there.
